A straighter smile, thoughtfully planned

Clear aligners

Clear aligners can be a convenient way to improve alignment, but the trays are only part of the treatment. We plan around your bite, monitor progress, and make retention part of the conversation from day one.

A clear place to start

Is this right for you?

Aligners may help with mild to moderate crowding, spacing, and selected bite concerns. More complex movement may require a different orthodontic approach; we will say so rather than force aligners to fit every case.

What the process looks like

01

Scan & assess

We evaluate your teeth, gums, bite, and goals and capture a digital scan—no gooey impressions.

02

Review your simulation

You see a proposed movement plan and discuss timeline, attachments, and alternatives before approving treatment.

03

Wear & monitor

Most patients wear aligners 20–22 hours daily, with periodic visits to keep movement on track.

04

Retain the result

Your first retainers are included. Long-term nightly retention helps protect the investment you made.

Let’s talk about cost

Financial clarity is part of good clinical care. We provide an itemized plan before elective treatment and can discuss insurance estimates, financing, or phasing care when appropriate.

What to expect at Luma

Treatment typically ranges from $3,900–$6,400 depending on complexity and includes your planned aligners, progress visits, and first set of retainers. Refinements or lost trays may carry additional fees, which we disclose upfront.

Questions, answered

01Are clear aligners faster than braces?

Not automatically. Timing depends on the movement required, your biology, and consistent wear. Simple cases may take months; more involved cases can take a year or longer.

02Can I eat with aligners in?

Remove them for eating and for drinks other than plain water. Clean your teeth before putting them back in to reduce staining and cavity risk.

03Do I really need retainers?

Yes. Teeth naturally tend to move over time. Retainers are the long-term maintenance phase of orthodontic treatment, not an optional accessory.
