Care should be accessible
Accessibility
Our approach for this concept website
Designed for more people
This site uses semantic landmarks, keyboard-accessible navigation and forms, visible focus indicators, readable contrast, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support, descriptive alternative text where appropriate, and native disclosure elements for frequently asked questions.
Physical access
The fictional Luma studio description includes step-free access and accessible treatment rooms. A production practice should publish accurate entrance, parking, restroom, communication, and accommodation information.
Need an accommodation?
Patients should be able to call before a visit to request communication support, additional appointment time, mobility accommodations, or another reasonable adjustment. Urgent medical needs should never be handled through a website form.
Ongoing testing
Accessibility is not a one-time overlay or plugin. Before a production launch, this concept should be tested with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, mobile devices, and real patients, then retested as content and integrations change.
